She has dedicated her entire nursing career to the detox and addiction specialty. Her nursing practice is based on advocacy, attention to detail, safety, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jessica Peiker earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Colorado (CU) College of Nursing and is now working towards her Master of Science in Nursing and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree (PMHNP) at Regis University. A now disabled combat Veteran after serving in the Army and deploying to Afghanistan, Jessica is committed to continuing advocacy and education to improve systems for fellow Veterans and civilians alike.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jessica often enjoys traveling as she quickly gets cabin fever; she loves seeing the world with her family and sharing experiences and history.
